Moonbean's Coffee stole my phone number

I used to visit the Moonbean's Coffee shop on Santa Teresa/Cottle nearly every day.

I'll never make that mistake again.

Today, an employee (a girl with an eyebrow piercing who was working around 4pm-7pm on Saturday, May 31st) tried to charge me for an in-store refill that used to be complimentary, so I left. When I called the store to register a complaint with the management, the girl answered the phone and scoffed.

Five minutes later, I get a call back on my cell from an unfamiliar number. It was the girl from Moonbeans.

The girl had STOLEN my personal cell number from Moonbean's caller ID, called me using her own cell phone, and started chewing me out for calling to complain. She said, "I can't believe you're bitching about paying for a refill; you should be lucky to be here at all." When I told her that stealing my personal information was probably illegal, she continued to yell and scream, then hung up on me.

I had visited Moonbeans almost every day since November 2007. I buy your biscotti, homemade burritos, and tamales.

There are plenty of independent coffee shops in the area where you don't have to deal with rude employees stealing your personal info and harassing you.

(By the way, the number from which the rude employee called my cell phone was 408-694-2008. Apparently she thinks my number is public information, so I guess hers is, too.)
